Services/Rates

• On the first visit, we will meet you (and your fur babies if appropriate) and perform a walkthrough of your yard.  
• After the walkthrough, we will ask you to sign an agreement giving The Pootector and their employees permission to enter your property, even when you are not home.  This will be kept on file for future visits.
• Once you and your pets are safely back inside your home, we will start the process of detecting and removing pet waste.
• We use five gallon buckets to contain the offending and possible day ruining dog bombs left by your beloved babies.
• We will confirm that the yard has been swept, and take all evidence of pet poopage with us for your pootection.

• On your regularly scheduled pick up day, you will receive a text with The Pootector's estimated time of arrival.
• We will get straight to work searching your yard for any unmentionables and safely removing them from the area.
• We take everything with us!  So you don't have to worry about smelly trash cans.
• When we are done, we will send you a message to let you know the service has been completed.

For recurring service clients, we will invoice on the last day of each month for any services provided in that month.  Invoices are emailed via QuickBooks and are payable online using a debit/credit card or by providing bank account debit authorization. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept personal checks or cash.

We value our clients, whether they are two-legged or four! If you are not satisfied, please let us know within 24 hours of your yard sweeping, and we will do what it takes to make sure you are satisfied.

If you and/or your dog(s) will be away, please let us know at least one week before your regular service day. Since your dog(s) will not be using the yard, you will not be charged for the time you are away. The Pootectors will be back on the scene on your next regularly scheduled service day.  The best way to notify us is by email, pootector@thepootector.com or call us at 636-535-5859.

We do not work during dangerous weather conditions including but not limited to:

• heavy rain
• heavy snow and ice
• thunderstorms
• high winds
• flooding
• extreme hot or cold temperatures
• etc. 

If the weather is not cooperating, we will simply be by the following week to get things back on track! 

If we come to your home and cannot gain safe access to your property due to any reason (i.e. snow, ice, blocked gate, etc.) you will be charged for the visit. We will not jump fences or dig out your gate.

There may be times when the waste is frozen to the ground due to temperature, ice or snow, and it may damage your lawn if we try to pry it out. Usually, by our next visit, the waste will have thawed and it can properly be removed.
